Security System Administrator (PLRD: SS)

The Security System Administrator is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and administration of the Card Access System (CAS) and CCTV systems. This role ensures the surveillance and access control operates efficiently and securely. Also, this role coordinates all security related system preventive maintenance, which includes identifying technology gaps/ issues and resolution by collaborating with various stakeholders such as external hardware suppliers, internal Global Security Technology focal and System integrator.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Preventive Maintenance:

• Schedule and coordinate with System Integrator to conduct testing of all access control readers at all locations/ sites.
• Finalize all infrastructure measurement testing of all corporate security hardware, including Panic buttons, Video Management Cameras, and Access Control readers.
• Initiate and document all infrastructure testing via Corporate Security Compliance interface.
• Coordinate with System Integrator and Supplier to resolve all Access Control System (CAS) and Surveillance Camera System (CCTV).
• Perform quarterly password changes and validation of hardware including CCTV systems and CAS, and any operational matters relating to Video Management Systems (VMS)

2. Service Call Activation:

• Manage Preventive Maintenance Contract and arrange for ad-hoc service calls to resolve any CAS and VMS related issues within the contract period.
• Schedule appointment with System Integrator, system provider and CCTV hardware manufacturer for hardware replacement and software troubleshooting.
• Raise relevant system provider tickets for software troubleshooting.
• Perform system firmware upgrades and updates along with camera manufacturer firmware upgrades.

3. System Health Check & Validation:

• Lead all VMS daily validations, including CPU status, RAM, camera offline status, Server status, SQL server database, and Drive C: storage.
• Conduct hardware and software validation for CCTV and CAS.
• Perform regular testing and reporting to ensure alignment with compliance, including:

1. Panic Alarm Testing
2. Emergency Exit Door Testing
3. CCTV Playback Software Testing

4. Documentation and Task Management:

• Maintain records and prepare necessary documents such as Permit to Work (PTW), Service Reports, Method of Statement (MOS), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Risk Assessments (RA) for audits performed by Facility Team.

5. Inventory Management:

• Document of all security related device inventory, badge inventory, and key inventory monthly.

6. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CAS and CCTV hardware and software systems, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
• Schedule vendors for support in worst-case scenarios.
• Perform remote connections to servers, archivers, and client workstations for immediate recovery.

7. Automation and Health Checks:

• Develop automation process of CCTV analytics and Video Management System health checks from programming to execution.
• Maintaining and reviewing weekly VMS health check reports. Identifying issues, and resolving or mitigating them based on the findings in collaboration with the internal Global Security Technology focal and the system integrator

8. Shutdown Preparation:

• Prepare and perform shutdown/power down procedures for the CCTV System and CAS during building power shutdown activities.
• Ensure all systems are running post-shutdown and troubleshoot any system malfunctions.

9. Collaboration and Coordination:

• Collaborate with the geography access control team to resolve security system-related issues.
• Address system malfunctions and user login/credential issues by coordinating with the APAC team.
• Establish new laptops for team members with all required systems and security applications.
• Provide in person/ remote support to local security control centre such as troubleshooting systems and security applications if team members encounter issues.

Communication:

• Execute any tasks assigned by Country Security Manager.
