Financial Advisor/Channel Sales (HNWI)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Advisor/Channel Sales professional to join our team. This role is focused on promoting and distributing our investment products through channels that cater to high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs). The ideal candidate will possess a strong network within private banking and wealth management sectors, with a proven ability to effectively engage with and manage relationships with private bankers, financial channels, advisors, and wealth managers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Channel Development & Management: Identify and establish relationships with private bankers, independent financial advisors (IFAs), family offices and other channels that serve HNWIs.
    Implement strategies to drive the distribution of our investment products through these channels, ensuring alignment with the financial goals of HNWIs as well as company sales strategies.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain deep, trust-based relationships with private bankers, financial advisors, and wealth managers to ensure ongoing engagement and product adoption.
    Act as a trusted advisor to these intermediaries, providing insights and support to help them serve their HNWI clients effectively.
  • Product Promotion & Advisory: Present and tailor our investment products to meet the specific needs of HNWIs, leveraging your expertise to guide clients and their advisors in making informed investment decisions.
    Conduct client meetings, workshops, and presentations to showcase our offerings and highlight their unique value propositions.
  • Market Insight & Feedback: Stay informed about market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive products within the HNWI segment.
    Provide feedback to the product development team to refine and enhance our offerings based on client and channel partner insights.
  • Sales Performance & Reporting: Track and report on sales activities, client engagements, and market penetration, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
    Use data-driven analysis to optimize sales strategies and improve channel effectiveness


Requirement for potential candidates:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in financial advisory, channel/intermediary sales, or relationship management within the financial services industry. Prior experience dealing with HNWIs is a plus.
    Proven success in promoting and distributing investment products through channel is a plus.
  • Skills & Competencies: Certain level of network within the private banking, wealth management, and financial advisory sectors.
    Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex investment strategies to HNWIs and their advisors.
    Strong understanding of HNWI investment preferences and the ability to provide tailored advice and solutions.
    High emotional intelligence and professionalism, with a strong ability to build and sustain trust-based relationships.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
    Professional certifications such as CFA, CFP, or similar are preferred but not mandatory.
  • Personal Attributes: Client-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality service to constantly engage with channels to build trust and close sales with end-clients with attention to meticulous details.
    Entrepreneurial and proactive, with a talent for identifying and leveraging business opportunities.
    Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Candidate should be willing to accept a compensation structure mainly based on sales commissions
