- Shall be able to closely interact with the piping design team to review the piping routing and suggest improvements.
- Shall have a penchant for details, and must be able to spot errors quickly.
- Shall have the ability check the stress integrity of piping systems and provide workable solutions to stress problems
- Shall have an engineering degree qualification with about 12-15 years of experience in pipe stress analysis for offshore platform / FPSO projects.
- Shall possess a strong background in pipe stress analysis concepts.
- Hands-on experience of at least 8 years in using CAESAR II application for offshore piping analysis is a must.
- Recent assignment as a senior stress engineer on an FPSO project with a good handle in identifying the required load cases covering wave motion, acceleration, deck hogging and sagging, etc. is required
- Shall be able to lead / work harmoniously in a team belonging to different ethnic groups.
- Shall be highly motivated and result-oriented.
- This is a 1-2 year contract.
- Location is in any shipyard in Singapore.
