- Carry out corrosion prediction calculations, prepare Materials Selection Report and Materials Selection Diagrams
- Prepare specifications related to Sour Service, Welding, PMI, Structural Steel etc related to Materials Engineering.
- Review specifications, data sheets of mechanical equipment, piping items, instruments. Support RFQ preparation of other disciplines & carry out bid evaluations.
- Review vendor data including GA drawings, fabrication & welding procedures
- Prepare SOW & bid evaluations for Third Party Studies for Corrosion Risk Assessment, Corrosion Control Manual etc
- 10 to 12 years of materials engineering experience with exposure to offshore engineering
- Shall be familiar with corrosion prevention & monitoring, corrosion prediction softwares such as ECE, Hydrocor & Predict
- Knowledge of international codes & standards
- Shall be able to work independently / with minimum guidance, and coordinate well with the Process, Mechanical, Piping design teams besides client personnel
- Shall be familiar with welding, coating, cathodic protection & NDE
- This is 1-2 year contract
- Location is in any shipyard in Singapore
