Primary Objective(s) of Position
- Achieve sales targets and revenue growth
- Develop new customer bases and offer suitable logistics services or solutions in tandem with overall corporate directions and strategies
- Gather market intelligence and build strong working relationships with stakeholders to achieve high customer satisfaction
Duties & Responsibilities
- Participate in identifying corporate sales planning and strategies
- Identify and enlarge Targeted Customer Base and Industry
- Promote service offerings to customers and prospects
- Conduct sales calls and visits
- Conduct internal meetings or vendor meetings to formulate solutions
- Identify and develop service and solution offerings
- Develop pricing and business models based on customer needs
- Preparation and submission of proposals to customers
- Prepare and conduct corporate presentations and sales meeting
- Deal with and overcome objections raised by customers
- Respond and follow-up on customers’ enquiries and requests
- Provide timely and accurate information on industry or customers’ intelligence
- Collate and submit sales reports and analysis
- Collate and present performance to customers and/or management
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing
- Responsible for AR collections and bad debts resolution
Skills and Qualifications
- Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or 3 years relevant experience to the logistics industry
- Meticulous with an eye for details
- Enjoys networking and engaging new clients
