About the Role
Lead and Build a team & culture that enables the Company to fulfill its mission of providing quality training platform. Provide team members to do their life’s best work in a highly engaging, principled, and inclusive workplace. Your responsibilities will span various People functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Build an Exceptional Team:
- Ensure all open roles are filled with high-performing individuals.
- Plan headcount effectively to grow the team in alignment with the company's short and long-term needs.
- Maintain an offer-to-acceptance rate of at least 80%.
Drive a High-Performance Culture:
- Hold every manager accountable for their team members' performance.
- Resolve performance issues promptly.
- Conduct efficient and rigorous performance review cycles.
- Provide managers with the support, training, and accountability needed to excel.
Engage, Develop, and Retain Employees:
- Achieve a high Employee Net Promoter Score (eNPS).
- Maintain annual regrettable attrition at or below 5%.
- Foster a strong sense of community and connection among employees.
- Promote diversity, inclusion, and belonging within the team.
Total Rewards Program:
- Develop a robust and principled compensation program.
- Ensure benefits are valued and rewarding.
- Maintain consistency in total rewards across different countries.
HR & Compliance:
- Handle HR and compliance matters with excellence.
- Ensure onboarding processes are efficient and effectively integrate new hires into Sinolight.
- Manage offboarding processes efficiently and securely.

- Proficient in HR software and tools (e.g. Deel, Workday)
Program Implementation:
- Proficient in rolling out programs, communicating decisions, and leading company communications effectively.
Strategic Partnership:
- Ability to be a thought partner to the Founder and executive team.
- Demonstrated proficiency in strategically partnering with executives and leaders.
Remote Leadership:
- Experience and interest in leading a people function in a regional company.
