Responsibilities
PLC Programming:
- Develop, test, and implement Siemens PLC S7-1200/1500 programs using Siemens TIA Portal for various processes & discrete Automation, Optimize PLC code for efficiency, reliability, and maintainability. Configure PLC hardware and I/O modules, Create and maintain detailed PLC program documentation.
SCADA/HMI Development:
- Design and develop user-friendly Siemens SCADA and HMI Unify interfaces using Siemens WinCC. Configure alarms, trends, and reports for process monitoring and control, Integrate SCADA/HMI with Siemens PLC systems for seamless operation.
DCS Integration:
- Integrate Siemens PLC systems with Siemens PCS 7 platforms for complex process control applications, configure data exchange and communication protocols between Siemens PLC and DCS, Ensure seamless data flow and control between systems.
System Commissioning and Startup:
- Commission Siemens PLC, Siemens SCADA WinCC, and Siemens DCS PCS 7 systems on- site, Configure and test system parameters to meet project requirements, Provide training to end-users on system operation and maintenance.
Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot Siemens PLC, Siemens SCADA, and Siemens DCS system issues, Implement corrective actions to restore system functionality, Provide ongoing system maintenance and support.
Project Management:
- Collaborate with project teams to define system requirements and specifications, Develop project timelines and resource allocation plans, Ensure project deliverables are met within budget and schedule constraints.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for system optimization and efficiency improvements, Implement process improvements and best practices, Stay updated on the latest automation technologies and industry trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or related engineering field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on PLC programming experience with Siemens PLC platforms.
- Proficiency in Siemens TIA Portal, Siemens SCADA, Siemens DCS, and Siemens HMI software environments.
- Strong understanding of industrial automation concepts and processes. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to fast changing requirements.
