We are seeking to hire a self driven Sales Manager. We are seeking applications from individuals who are in the logistics sector have a very strong sales aptitude and cherish excellent CXO relationships with companies in this sector spread out across South-East Asia and Singapore. We are using this position to contribute our little bit to Singapore, by re-training right candidate with long experience and experience in Logistics, who now aspire to move into SaaS Software Sales for the same industry, by using the Career Conversion Program.


The ideal sales manager shall have a good knowledge of the sales process, and excels at lead generation, relationship building, and closing deals, and should be willing to be coached in that area. The person shall have the right relationships in the logistics sector in Singapore and South-East Asia with clients, and shall be able to leverage his / her business relationships with key clients to eventually sell our logistics SaaS solutions and secure revenue and collections. We are seeking a quick learner who has strong negotiating skills —someone with a track record of success who can inspire the same in others, while possessing the necessary domain experience in the field.


The Role


The role demands a leader with a sharp mind and an ability to consult customers, plan business development actions to develop a pipeline of opportunities - needed to secure target revenues for Spindle


Responsibilities


· Represent our company with a comprehensive understanding of its offerings

· Research consumer needs and identify how our solutions address them

· Achieve company objectives by planning effectively, achieving sales goals, ● Continuously develop skills using

· effective sales tactics to meet revenue objectives and ensure collection of dues from customers in a timely manner.

· Generate leads, and establish and nurture client relationships

· Understand competition and their operating strategy, develop, localize and keep up to date competitive awareness

· Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands customer base

· Meet potential clients and grow/develop long-lasting relationships by understanding their needs

· Track, analyze, and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends

· Ensure that company quotas and standards are met by holding check-ins with the leadership team

· Set objectives and to monitor progress

· Manage month-end and year-end close processes


Required Skills


· Deep industry connects with C suite of target clients in the logistics sector in Singapore and South East Asia (namely Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand)

· Conceptual familiarity with the entire sales cycle, from planning to collection what is commonly referred to as Quote to Cash. We will coach you on the job, further.

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

· Demonstrated leadership

· Ability to travel as per business need.

· A university qualification in Sales/ marketing and preferably logistics/ supply chain specialization

· 5+ years of experience in the Freight Forwarding industry extending to broader overall logistics business function and its automation, is essential.

. Familiarity with Software such as Transportation Management Software at a working level

· Additionally, 3+ years of relevant experience in managing IT SaaS Product sales within a Corporate environment is desirable, but not essential.
