As a Logistics Specialist (Sales & Forwarding), you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in logistics and forwarding by developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients.
- Act as the primary contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns.
- Understand and address clients’ logistics requirements with tailored solutions.Conduct market research to spot trends and growth opportunities.
- Prepare and present proposals and quotes to clients.
- Achieve sales targets and drive company revenue growth.
- Oversee planning, execution, and management of logistics operations.
- Coordinate with carriers, warehouses, and service providers for timely, accurate delivery.
- Monitor and track shipments, resolving issues or delays as they arise.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Prepare and review logistics documents such as bills of lading, customs forms, and contracts.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and logistics operations.
- Generate reports on sales performance, operational metrics, and market trends.
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, customer service, finance) for smooth workflow and service delivery.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and resolving issues.
Requirements
- Possess minimum Diploma or equivalent.
- Possess relevant working experience with Sales, Logistics & Forwarding will be an added advantage
