The HR and Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the human resources and financial functions of the Cynopsis. This dual role requires a versatile professional who can efficiently handle HR responsibilities while also managing financial operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Human Resources:
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices that align with company goals and Singapore employment laws.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
- Administer employee benefits and compensation programs, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
- Oversee performance management and appraisal processes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Address employee relations issues and ensure a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution.
- Manage employee training and development programs to enhance skills and productivity.
Finance:
- Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Monitor cash flow, manage accounts payable and receivable, and ensure timely payment of bills and invoices.
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Manage payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement of salaries and benefits.
- Develop and implement cost-saving measures and financial strategies to optimize company resources.
Pre-Requisites:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in both HR and finance roles, ideally within the software or technology industry.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore labor laws, employment regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in HRIS and financial software/tools.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
