Job Description
- Manage Biotech/Life Sciences Services and Products: Oversee a range of services (e.g., DNA sequencing, gene and peptide synthesis) and products (e.g., consumables, reagents) targeted at the R&D sector.
- Sales Management: Handle assigned product portfolio, aiming to meet revenue targets and budget requirements.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date professional and technical knowledge of the products being sold.
- Client Relationships: Build and nurture relationships with both existing and new clients through proactive sales efforts within the assigned region.
- Post-Sale Coordination: Follow up with clients after sales in collaboration with the service delivery team.
- Sales Administration: Manage sales inquiries, prepare sales reports and quotations, and update the customer database.
- Customer Visits: Conduct regular on-site visits to customers as part of the sales strategy and provide weekly sales reports.
- Follow-Up Calls: Perform routine follow-up calls within the assigned zone to achieve sales revenue goals.
Pre-requisites:
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Medical Technology, Biomedical Science, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 1 year of direct sales or related experience; entry-level candidates are also encouraged to apply.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience or knowledge in healthcare, research laboratories, institutions, or engineering services is advantageous.
