Responsibilities:
- Enhancing production operations through industrial engineering, site surveys, factory diagnoses, and digitalization of processes.
- Lead efforts to enhance factory operations across the APAC region and designated areas as directed by the head office
- Driving digital transformation with a focus on digitalization use cases, IT infrastructure, data connectivity, and technologies like paperless manufacturing, smart automation, AR/VR, BI tools, and big data analytics.
- Collaborate with the Manufacturing Innovation Centre to analyze factory operations, identify process gaps, and implement improvements.
- Organizing and conducting training and seminars to support digital transformation and factory enhancements.
- Supporting product cost working groups by improving production cost structures and collaborating on product planning and development.
- Handling some administrative tasks related to MIC operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field preferred; a diploma with extensive experience may also be considered.
- 3-5 years of experience in factory enhancement and digital transformation.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, product development processes, and digital transformation technologies (including Big Data Analytics and AI).
- Good IT knowledge with experience in an OT environment (manufacturing). Programming skills in Python, Java, C++, or SQL are advantageous.
- A team player who is self-motivated, innovative, and agile, with strong critical thinking abilities to improve application performance and resolve technical issues.
- Willingness to travel frequently within APAC and occasionally outside the region.
