The Role:
· Responsible to do daily logging for all boiler operations.
· Responsible to do daily logging for other unit system operations including all analysers.
· Responsible to issue PTW for all site work.
· Responsible to be part of the ERT of the site.
· Operates BMS to control, monitor and troubleshoot utilities equipment and man the CUB – control room and be 1st level of communication with control room.
· Responsible and accountable to follow all Safety Procedures of the site.
· Performs In process sampling and testing.
· Performs simple maintenance jobs in accordance with safety requirement.
· Preparation of equipment for lock out tag out (LOTO), filter change outs etc.
· Responsible to participate in developing daily work procedures and carrying out of routine maintenance to ensure utilities equipment and facilities are maintained to highest level of safety.
· Report all accident, injury, near miss, unsafe conditions, and behaviour to immediate supervisor so that remedial actions can be taken to eliminate risk.
· Be part of the RCA (Root cause analysis) and ensures adequate investigation of all incidents and facilities corrective action to prevent future occurrence.
· Coordinate waste disposal (general waste and chemical waste) and waste minimization program.
· Ensure utilities and facilities problems are identified and repaired quickly.
· Ensure that contractors are delivering quality services.
· Familiarity with Emergency procedures for safe operation and shut down of units through BMS for yearly shut down maintenance.
· Other tasks assigned by site manager.
What Do You Need to Have?
· Mandatory Class 2 Boiler Attendant registered under MOM.
· Familiar with FMEA, HAZAOP and Job Hazard Analysis methodologies.
· Good interpersonal, management and decision-making skills.
· Strong innovative and analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
· A registered First-Aider Certification is an added advantage.
