IAM Support Lead

Astek Singapore Innovation Technology Pte. Ltd.

Astek has an opening of Identitity Access Management (IAM) Support Lead for one of our project based in Singapore.


The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Support Lead will oversee various projects within the organization, focusing on the following areas:


Identity and Access Management Operations (User Administration):

  • Leadership: Lead and manage the IAM support team to handle all user and system access requests, including those for organization applications and databases (MS SQL, Oracle), ensuring compliance with the organization’s system rules and policies.
  • Service Level Agreements (SLAs): Ensure that all access provisioning and de-provisioning requests are completed within the defined SLAs as outlined in the organization’s guidelines.
  • Reporting: Oversee the generation of monthly reports on IAM and service requests, including metrics on pending, aging, and completed tickets.
  • IAM Reviews: Direct and coordinate corporate-wide IAM reviews in alignment with the organization’s IT Risks and Security policies, including user access rights reviews and reconciliations.
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Lead UAT efforts for IAM-related projects and system enhancements.
  • Documentation: Supervise the maintenance and updating of IAM processes, procedures, and documentation using the organization’s templates.
  • Security Investigations: Manage investigations into IAM-related security breaches, including liaising with business users, IT/system custodians, and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Incident Escalation: Oversee the escalation of suspicious security incidents after verification with senior IAM analysts.
  • Process Improvement: Conduct periodic reviews of IAM processes to identify and implement efficiency improvements.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience: Extensive experience in IAM management and support, including leadership of user and system access provisioning and de-provisioning activities.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of IAM systems, tools, and technologies, including MS SQL and Oracle databases.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively, including directing daily operations and mentoring team members.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of resolving complex IAM issues efficiently.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills for effectively interacting with business users, IT staff, and senior management.
  • Process Improvement: Demonstrated ability to analyze and enhance IAM processes for improved efficiency and automation.
  • Security Awareness: Experience in leading security investigations and managing incident escalation processes.
  • Documentation: Skilled in overseeing the creation and maintenance of process documentation.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail in reporting and ensuring SLA compliance.
