Main Job Scope:
- Sourcing and Supplier Management:Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, reliability, and service.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure continuous supply and favorable terms.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, credit term and delivery schedule to achieve cost savings and business continuity for the company.
- Procurement Operations: Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including requisition, purchase order creation, order tracking, and delivery coordination.
Ensure the timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for warehouse and logistics operations. - Work with internal stakeholders to ensure timely payment to the supplier for materials, equipment, and services procured.
- Compliance and Documentation:Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier performance data.
- Prepare and present procurement reports to management, highlighting key metrics, savings, and opportunities for improvement.
- Cost Optimization: Analyze market trends and pricing conditions to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Implement procurement strategies that drive cost efficiencies while maintaining quality and service standards.
- Collaborate with the finance team to manage budgets and forecast procurement needs.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:Work closely with the warehouse, logistics, and operations teams to understand their procurement needs and provide timely support.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve any issues related to orders, deliveries, or quality.
- Participate in cross-functional projects to improve supply chain processes and contribute to business growth.
Requirements:
- Min Diploma in Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
At least 3-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the warehouse and logistics industry.
Proven experience in supplier management, contract negotiation, and procurement operations.
