The incumber is responsible for outdoor project, supervise contract workers and outdoor site survey, the scope can be wide base in any infrastructure like telecommunication, machinery, networking, IOT, or any IT equipment.
Responsibilities
1. Perform routine maintenance and upkeeping of HQ IT equipment and software;
2. Attend to hardware maintenance requirements in liaison with hardware vendors if needed, recommend repair/upgrading services as well as the scaping of obsolete hardware and the requisition of hardware consumables;
3. Provide "HelpDesk" service to ensure users get the necessary support, and if need be, to escalate the problems to respective vendors/consultants;
4. Provide support to team members on matters relating to operations of IT services within the Group;
5. Coordinate (including sourcing, if requested) all IT-related purchases within the company, in liaison with end-users and respective departmental head;
6. Maintain and update IT hardware and software inventory;
7. Undertakes IT-related duties and projects as assigned by the Group IT GM.
Requirements
1. Candidates without any IT support experience/knowledge are welcomed to apply;
2. However, candidates must have minimum 1 year of fieldwork experience running outdoor project;
3. Energetic and willing to work offsite to manage outdoor projects;
4. Good skill set to liaise and follow up with vendors and users onsite and offsite;
5. Innovative, with drive to introduce and recommend new ideas and contribute to improve IT operations/project works;
6. IT savvy and has basic understanding of IT hardware and software applications like PCs, Printers, MFP and Corporate software like Emails, ERP etc;
7. Singaporean/SPR only;
8. Willing to work alternate Saturday.
