Receptionist cum Admin Assistant

This advertisement is for the recruiting position of Receptionist cum Admin Assistant.

If successfully selected, you will be seconded to a MOE primary school located in Bedok South.

Contract Period: From 1 Oct 2024 to 30 September 2025.

Option to Extend: for a further period of 12 months.

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours subject to school’s need:

  • Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 1 hour lunch break
  • Fridays: 7:00am to 4:00pm, inclusive of 1 hour lunch break
  • Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

The Services required are set out as follows:

Perform reception functions:

  • Receive, direct and relay telephone messages from staff, parents and general public.
  • Assist and/or direct pupils, visitors and general public.
  • Provide general administrative support, including managing in-coming and out-going mails, scanning of document and photocopying.
  • Manage and maintain the inventory of office supplies such as stationeries and toiletries.
  • Assist to prepare refreshments for guests, and
  • Any other administrative duties as assigned by the Admin Manager and School Leaders.

The personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, experience and skills:

  • GCE ‘O’ Level
  • Possess good interpersonal skills
  • Customer service oriented and familiar with proper phone etiquette
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office/Microsoft Excel
  • Attention to details and problem solving skills
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Possess at least 3 years of experience in administrative
