A Research Assistant position is available in the School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering at NTU. We are seeking a highly talented candidate who are highly motivated with a project to conduct the research on understanding CMOS fabrication process for photonic integrated circuits, exploring their application as a new class of optical on-chip interconnects. The Research Assistant will work on a project to conduct the experimental research on development of single photon emitting devices using 2D materials and vdW heterostructures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, fabrication, and characterization of passive photonic components.
- Photonic integrated circuits for optical on-chip interconnects.
- Optimization of CMOS fabrication process for Si photonics.
Job Requirements:
- B.S in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
- Research background in semiconductor fabrication is preferred.
- Research experience in fabrication and characterization of Si photonics
