A Day in the Life:
- Create and prepare technical drawings in 2D/3D and details.
- Provide a complete set of drawings and advise the designers on any design conflicts.
- Advise designers on the structural feasibility of designs.
- Coordinate with designers/projects on specific requirements for technical drawings.
- Conduct revisions for technical drawings.
- Conduct site measurements/take pictures on-site for technical drawing references.
- Be able to travel to project sites when necessary.
What are We Looking For:
- Proficiency in design software such as CAD, Revit, SketchUp, and knowledgeable in Photoshop and Rhino.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Able to do technical hand sketches.
- A good understanding/knowledge of the latest construction methodology.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Good time-management abilities.
