We are representing our client, an established large Chinese bank, to look for a Corporate Banking Relationship Manager to grow a portfolio of corporate customers from the Healthcare, Medical, Biomedical, Biotechnology and/or Life Sciences sectors.
Job Description
- Call on C-suite executives, Finance Director and Treasurer to form and deepen relationship and proactively respond to, uncover and anticipate future needs, roadblocks or risks.
- Work with product specialist and subject matter experts to structure innovative and customized solutions that meet clients' needs.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to deepen and increase share of wallet.
- Maximize client experience by sharing market updates, trend and intelligence proactively.
- Drive innovation in the solutions provided to clients and further develop business.
- Network with clients to identify avenues for new business opportunities.
- Administrate the credit relationship of the client (including but not limited to preparing term sheet, credit proposals and credit review, implementation of the credit terms and conditions, servicing of client's day-to-day needs, operation of internal systems, etc.), coordinate and supervise the entire process, ensuring the proper application of the Bank’s policies and processes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and the Bank's policies/guidelines at all times.
- Proactively protect the Bank's assets and reputation by being the first line of defence from risk management perspective.
- Responsible to meet the KPIs.
Job Requirements
- More than 5 years of experience as a Corporate Banking Relationship Manager, with proven track record managing customers from the Healthcare, Medical, Biomedical, Biotechnology and/or Life Sciences sectors.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Strong ability to expand the customer base and undertake projects in specific sectors.
- Sound knowledge of banking products with track record of providing banking solutions to growth stage clients.
- Sound credit and financial analysis skill as well as problem solving ability.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing / negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a team setting and under pressure while making decision.
- Independent, self-motivated, proactive, and result-oriented.
