Mavi Turkish Restaurant & Grill is specialized in mainly authentic Turkish and Mediterranean cuisines. Our restaurant receives high remarks for its quality food and customer service. We are looking for Service Staff (Waitress/Waiter) whose roles and responsibilities will be but not limited to:
Job Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
- Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously. Take and accurately relay food and drink orders to the kitchen.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints effectively and professionally. Ensure customers have a positive dining experience and handle any issues that arise.
- Proactively interact with customers to ensure that each guest is having the expected dining experienc
Food and Beverage Service:
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely manner. Ensure that all orders are correct and meet the restaurant's quality standards.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently between guests.
Cash and Payment Handling:
- Process transactions accurately, including handling cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and handle financial aspects responsibly.
Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area, service stations, and restrooms.
- Sweep and mop the service floor before and after service.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a clean and safe environment.
Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, fellow servers, and management to ensure smooth operation.
- Communicate effectively with team members to manage busy periods and special requests.
- Monitor the supply stock and assist with the ordering.
Adherence to Policies:
- Follow restaurant policies and procedures, including dress code, hygiene standards, and operational protocols.
- Participate in training and meetings as required.
Restaurant Food and Beverages Menu
- Get familiarize with the dining menu and learn about the dishes, ingredients and options.
- Process online orders and find delivery drivers for food delivery
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and manage stress effectively.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing orders.
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not always required.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Candidate must possess at least Primary/Secondary School/"O" Level in Food & Beverage Services management or equivalent.
- Required language(s): English. It is plus to have additional languages: Chinese, Malay or Turkish
Salary:
· SGD1800-2400 (Depending on qualifications and experience)
or SGD10-12 / hours for Part-time
