Specific Responsibilities:
1. Conduct regular inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
2. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity and efficiency of equipment and systems, such as lubricating machinery, changing filters, and testing safety devices.
3. Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment, systems, or structures, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
4. Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and standards, and implement safety protocols to protect workers and occupants.
5. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and replacements, to track the history and status of equipment and systems.
6. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, such as leaks, power outages, or equipment failures, to minimize downtime and safety hazards.
7. Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and parts, ensuring that necessary items are in stock and reordered as needed.
8. Assist in planning and implementing facility upgrades or renovations, which may involve installing new equipment, modifying existing structures, or improving infrastructure.
9. Work closely with other departments, contractors, and vendors to coordinate maintenance activities, schedule repairs, and ensure that maintenance projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
