We are looking for an IT Business Application Support Manager (OneStream XF) level to join our client's team. This is a 12 Month contract role to start with a potential to extend / convert based on the individual's performance and business needs.
Role Overview:
The IT Business Support role is crucial for driving and managing strategic and tactical changes within the Finance Domain. This position involves supporting, troubleshooting, enhancing, defining, managing, and implementing various financial systems and processes. The IT Business Support professional is responsible for gathering, analyzing, refining, and documenting business requirements, as well as facilitating testing and implementing necessary fixes and solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver application support for core finance applications, including OneStream XF and Finance Data Warehouse.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing custom reports and integrations.
- Lead user discussions and workshops to gather and clarify new requirements for reports and integrations.
- Document user requirements in both functional and technical specifications.
- Enhance and/or develop reports and integrations for finance applications.
- Develop functional testing scenarios, create test scripts, and conduct unit and system integration testing.
- Provide user training and manage user testing when required.
- Prepare migration and deployment documentation and participate in CAB and release management processes.
- Facilitate and lead discussions with product and IT owners for all group-owned applications.
- Address comprehensive questions and coordinate technical discussions with product and IT owners, as well as group application support teams.
- Ensure all changes to finance applications comply with group design principles, and liaise with Enterprise IT for necessary approvals.
- Engage in the broader group efforts to upgrade finance applications while ensuring no loss of functionality or service degradation for Finance.
- Contribute to project management tasks, including status reporting, risk management, issue resolution, change management, and compliance.
Domain-Specific Attributes:
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with OneStream XF as a Techno-Functional Consultant, with a total of 5 years’ experience in leading EPM tools such as Anaplan, Jedox, Oracle EPM, etc.
- Deep understanding of EPM planning, budgeting, allocations, consolidation, and management reporting modules and processes.
- Working knowledge of accounting principles and chart of accounts.
- Strong technical skills in MS-SQL.
- Experience with enterprise visualization tools such as Power BI.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with business units, architectural design teams, technical teams, and service partners to prioritize and implement solutions.
