Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Building Services Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate must be a BCA-registered Energy Auditor and a licensed Mechanical Professional Engineer (PE) in Singapore. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient design, implementation, and management of building services projects, with a strong focus on energy efficiency, sustainability, and compliance with local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Engineering:
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of building services systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Develop and review engineering designs to ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and energy efficiency goals.
- Provide technical leadership in energy management and sustainable building solutions.
- Energy Auditing & Compliance:
- Conduct energy audits and assessments in line with BCA's Green Mark and other sustainability initiatives.
- Ensure all projects comply with BCA’s energy efficiency regulations and standards.
- Prepare detailed reports on energy performance and recommend improvements to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
- Project Management:
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle from conceptualization to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external consultants to ensure project objectives are met.
- Manage the tender process, including drafting RFPs, evaluating proposals, and selecting contractors.
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and provide innovative building solutions.
- Present technical proposals and reports to clients, ensuring clear communication of complex engineering concepts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field.
- Must be a BCA-registered Energy Auditor.
- Licensed Mechanical Professional Engineer (PE) in Singapore.
- At least 8-10 years of relevant experience in building services engineering, with a strong focus on energy efficiency and sustainable design.
- Proven track record in leading complex building services projects in Singapore.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore’s building codes, regulations, and BCA’s Green Mark certification process.
