Job Summary:
The Senior Applications Engineer provides technical support for Uninterrupted Power Supply's (UPS) product offerings, ensuring solutions meet local authority requirements and tender specifications. This role involves collaborating with consultants, contractors, and distributors, managing pre-sale activities, and supporting sales efforts to achieve organizational goals.

Basic Functions:
- Deliver technical support on products and solutions.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and tender requirements.
- Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and distributors.
- Oversee pre-sale activities including pricing and material specifications.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Conduct feasibility studies and suggest alternative solutions.
- Develop project tender specifications and cost estimates.
- Survey project sites and assist with integration proposals.
- Influence specifications changes related to installation design.
- Support the sales team with project proposals, quotations, and technical documents.
- Achieve sales targets through proactive promotional activities and pipeline development.
- Work with vendors to offer competitive solutions and identify growth opportunities.
- Report on promotional activities and market intelligence.
- Conduct training seminars for customers in partnership with product marketing managers.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 5-10 years of experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with power products, including UPS systems and switchgear.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand electrical control systems.
- Knowledge of site installation preferred.
