Head of Business Development, APAC

Job Description:

  • Provide the Managing Director with strategic insights and support on all aspects of the company's operation in the APAC region. This includes providing the Managing Director with regular updates on the region's performance, identifying and mitigating risks, and recommending new initiatives.
  • Implement and develop procedures to make the day-to-day operation more efficient. This includes streamlining processes, automating tasks, and optimizing resources.
  • Provide oversight of projects and report on their performance. This includes tracking progress, identifying risks, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. It also includes facilitating templates, market research and suggestions to complete tasks.
  • includes working with business units to develop the plan, tracking its execution, and making adjustments as needed.
  • Provide support on the region's financial reporting. This includes preparing financial reports, analyzing data, and providing insights to the President, APAC.
  • Track the region's performance against its goals. This includes identifying areas where the region is performing well and areas where there is room for improvement.
  • Identify and prioritize new projects. This includes evaluating opportunities, developing business cases, and securing funding.
  • Analyze existing projects and support for its completion. This includes identifying and resolving issues, providing guidance to managers, and ensuring that projects are completed on time
  • Cascade the organization's strategic goals to all the areas. This includes communicating the goals to employees, setting clear expectations, and providing support to achieve the goals.
  • Have active communication with both internal and external stakeholders. This includes building relationships, resolving issues, and sharing information.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree with at least 5 years of experience project management, and managing digital marketing programs for advertisers or their agencies.
  • Demonstrated ability to create, develop, and enhance customer relationships.
  • Ability to manage large customer relationships and manage through conflict, driving groups to collective business decision.
  • Proven track record translating marketing objectives into results for advertisers.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, attention to detail, and a bias for proactively resolving issues.
  • Aptitude, creativity, and a preference for working in small, collaborative teams with minimal supervision.
  • Must have strong understanding of digital marketplace and understanding of the competitive.
  • Proficient in both written & spoken English.
