Responsibilities:
- Attend to 24/7 Network Operations Centre (NOC) phone line and emails
- Attend to escalations from internal and external stakeholders
- Perform network monitoring and fault management
- Manage network outage notifications to customers
- Assist with daily Security Operations Centre (SOC)and IT monitoring duties
- Layer 1 (Fibre Optic) network analysis and troubleshooting
- Manage and respond to facility and security alarms
- Response timely to incidents/beaches within the Central Office
- Coordinate operational activities
Requirements:
- Candidates with no experience are welcome to apply
- NITEC in any discipline, preferably in Engineering
- Able to perform 12 hours of rotating shift duties
- Able to work in a buddy system-oriented environment
