The Sales Manager is responsible for generating business from corporate accounts and travel agents to achieve overall sales targets and objectives outlined in the Sales & Marketing Plan.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth
· Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and other potential clients
Sales Targets:
· Set and achieve sales targets as outlined in the Sales & Marketing Plan
· Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges
Client Relationship Management:
· Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
· Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries and concerns
Proposal and Contract Negotiation:
· Prepare and present proposals to clients, showcasing the hotel's offerings
· Negotiate contracts and terms with clients to secure business agreements
Market Research:
· Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and industry trends
· Provide regular feedback to the management team on market conditions and competitor activities
Sales Presentations:
· Deliver effective sales presentations to potential clients, highlighting the hotel's unique selling points
· Participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote the hotel
Collaboration with Internal Departments:
· Coordinate with various internal departments, such as operations and reservations, to ensure seamless guest experiences
· Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns
Sales Reporting:
· Prepare and submit regular sales reports to the management team
· Analyze sales performance and propose strategies for improvement
Qualifications and Requirements:
· Diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
· Minimum 2 years experience and above
· Proven experience in hotel sales, with a focus on corporate accounts
· Strong understanding of the hospitality industry and market trends
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills
· Results-oriented with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
