The Institute for Digital Molecular Analytics and Science (IDMxS) invites applications for the position of Research Associate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Determine inference limits of latent parameters given noisy, incomplete measurements.
- Pre-process (e.g., background rejection/subtraction, reduction, unsupervised vector quantization) and feature learning of raw detector data.
- Design and test machine learning models for bio-detection.
- Validate and interpret the results of these machine learning models.
- Write and publish scientific publications of these results in competitive journals.
- Engage existing and potential data stakeholders to scope for new projects.
Job Requirements:
- Masters degree from a reputable University.
- Proficient in scientific programming in Unix, Python, C, Mathematica.
- Strong mathematical background (i.e., Linear Algebra, Information theory, Multivariable Calculus, Machine Learning, PDEs).
- Prior experience and scientific publications in applying machine learning and data science to problems in imaging.
- Able to write and communicate effectively and independently in English.
