What the role is
This is a 2-year contract position as a Lecturer in the School of InfoComm Technology.
What you will be working on
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Create teaching and assessment materials, conduct lessons and facilitate learning for both Pre-Employment Training (PET) and Continuing Education and Training (CET) students.
- Develop and maintain new/existing teaching curriculum. This includes regular review of existing curriculum and make recommendations on areas of improvements that would enhance students’ learning, performance and employability.
- Keep abreast of current trends and developments of technologies and emerging trends.
- Handle administrative work relating to education and school / institutional and strategic initiatives.
- Support School’s strategic initiatives through involvement in committee.
What we are looking for
- Ability to teach courses in one or more areas of Cybersecurity, Data Science, Immersive Media, and IT
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience in related domain
- Passionate about education and possess strong interest in teaching and mentoring both youths and adult learners
- Self-starter mentality with ability to manage multiple courses and projects
- Proficient in at least one programming language
