We’re looking to add a Paralegal in Singapore. The position will be based in our corporate office in AMK.
We are looking for someone motivated, willing to learn and who is a strong team player. You will be welcomed into our closely knit team and will be given many opportunities to grow with us. You can expect a supportive and fast-paced environment where your contributions will be recognized.
You will work with lawyers supporting stakeholders within the Venture Group of entities across Singapore, Europe, the United States, Malaysia and China. There will be exposure to contractual drafting, advisory work, dispute management and compliance matters.
- Support the legal team in drafting, reviewing and editing various contracts including non-disclosure agreements and service agreements.
- Assist in editing and proofreading various contracts, formal correspondence and legal filings.
- Creating and maintaining an online document and correspondence database.
- Support with compliance activities including preparation of slides, scheduling of training sessions and compiling feedback.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Conducting legal research.
- Administrative support for legal department including scheduling meetings, taking minutes, assisting with claims, filing and general day-to-day support.
- General ad hoc tasks as and when required by the department.
What skills and experiences are we looking for?
- Degree / Diploma in Legal Studies/Law or Paralegal certificate.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in a law firm or in-house legal team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong English language skills.
- Ability to multi-task efficiently, whilst maintaining strong quality of work and attention to detail.
- Analytical, organized and able to work independently and exercise initiative.
- Highly ethical and discreet.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Open to candidates without the necessary work experience as long as you are willing to learn!
