As the Head of IT, youj will oversee the corporate workspace environment and office network infrastructure, while also leading the service desk and workspace automation teams. This role demands a strong understanding of authorization and authentication protocols, a clear preference for automation over manual processes, a keen interest in cybersecurity, and the ability to effectively manage teams across different global locations. Some travel to Cyprus, Malta, Monaco and other locations will be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust office network infrastructure across all locations.
- Review and automate corporate processes, particularly in asset management, access control, and user provisioning. Promote standardization to ensure consistency in tools, systems, and processes across all offices.
- Develop and implement policies to protect the corporate workspace from modern security threats, enforce security best practices, introduce new solutions, and raise awareness among collaborators.
- Ensure the workspace environment complies with applicable local laws and global regulations. Contribute to the company’s ISMS audits.
- Develop and manage the workspace-related budget, including software licensing and asset procurement, ensuring cost-effective solutions. Anticipate renewal cycles and negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs, maintain the roadmap, and regularly communicate progress.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay informed on the latest IT trends and technologies, especially Seek opportunities to enhance network infrastructure and workspace automation processes.
- Lead, mentor, and manage Workspace Automation and Service Desk teams globally, ensuring team efficiency in a remote work environment.
Skills and Competencies:
- Deep understanding of IAM-based ecosystems like Okta or Entra.
- Proficient in authentication and authorization protocols such as SSO, SAML, OIDC, SCIM, Kerberos, or passwordless systems.
- Experience with office solutions like Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick and effective decisions.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, with a results-oriented approach.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Experience with MDM/UEM and EDR solutions is a plus.
- Proven experience with CRM at both strategic and tactical levels.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management or IT workspace management.
- Proven experience managing remote teams.
- Strong knowledge of network architecture, server management, authentication/authorization protocols, and cybersecurity.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to travel to various office locations as needed.
- Must be located in Singapore or willing to relocate.
- French language skills are a plus.
