Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for automated and injection molding machines.
- Utilize SolidWorks to design, model, and convert 3D models into 2D drawings.
- Use SolidWorks' simulation tools to test and validate design functionality and performance.
- Assist production, process, and technical teams with troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Train technical and operations teams, and support software and validation engineers.
- Monitor machinery performance, generate reports, and propose improvements to enhance output, reduce downtime, and lower costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process and equipment improvement projects.
- Develop and manage small-scale improvement projects.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechatronics or a relevant engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with highly automated equipment and injection molding machines.
- Extensive experience with SolidWorks, including:Designing and modeling mechanical components and assemblies.
Converting 3D models into accurate 2D drawings for production.
Using simulation tools to test and validate design performance. - Experience in medical devices and pharmaceutical environments is advantageous.
- Proficiency in mechanical drawing and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to understand electrical schematics.
- Thorough understanding of robotics, control systems, and machine operation.
