- Position: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (Marine & Offshore)
- Well Established Marine & Offshore MNC
- 5 Days Work Week
- Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $7,000
- Working Location: Tuas

Main Responsibilities:
- Perform and represent as a Lead Engineer for Engineering Mechanical for projects like major repair / upgrading / conversion projects or new build projects.
- Responsible for optimized Mechanical engineering man hour utilization within the project.
- Coordinate between the other trades & internal for engineering integration.
- Coordinate with Project Lead on Project Engineering & procurement schedule.
- Perform as a Mechanical Senior Engineer to generate and complete the assigned tasks for projects within the allocated timeline and high degree of accuracy.
- Prepare & review equipment technical specification / drawings to ensure completeness & correctness with company requirements.
- Prepare & review equipment parameter & mandatory calculation.
- Prepare & review piping schematics (P&ID).
- Prepare & review machinery & HVAC layout, equipment installation & alignment.
- Prepare & review mechanical design and construction standard.
- Review 2D & 3D for piping detail and production design.
- Prepare & review testing protocol & operation manual.
- Guiding & checking mechanical engineer activities.
- Perform as a responsible mechanical team member to provide technical support for site mechanical issue and handle multiple mechanical tasks as assigned.
- Handle & complete multi-tasks for multi-projects as needed.
- Visit & provide the on-site / travelling supports as needed.
- Contribute extra & compromise rest for urgency assignment as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in machinery, piping & new-building engineering design in the marine & offshore industry.
- Familiar with Auto-CAD / Microsoft Office / AVEVA
- Familiar with Rules and Regulations from Classification Society and Authorities.
- Familiar with theory and calculation of marine / offshore mechanical & piping design.
- Good communication and analysis skills.
