Job Description
- Planning the completion of the site
- Acting as a construction expert in the Feasibility study, Basic and FEED phases
- Compiling the contracting plan, constructability reviews, HAZOPS, etc
- Preparing the contract documents, supervision and coordination of contracts
- Heading the technical part of the contract negotiations in cooperation with design
- Planning and implementation of site arrangements
- Managing the supervisory work of different work types in the installation, construction and start-up phase
- Reporting on progress and threats to the project managers. Manage multiple projects at any given time
- Taking care of official requirements and supervising compliance with them
- Closing the site, final reporting and aftercare of construction
- Taking care of occupational safety responsibility for revising the general guidelines for the implementation of the quality system
- Responsibility for revising the general guidelines for the implementation of the quality system
- Resourcing in the execution phase together with the Head of Construction
- Leadership and people management skills.
- Project scheduling & prioritization skills
- Possesses a general understanding of contract administration, business principals and business law
- Effective communication skills in English (mandatory) both verbally and in writing
- CMO Lead is expected to work very independently, collaborating closely and networking easily with the project organization in other Company locations as well.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural are preferred) or similar education is a must.
- Proven experience of at least 10 t0 15 years in similar jobs, preferable also inside the fence of industrial clients.
- Strong focus on project delivery skills, developing new ways of working and driving change are close to your heart.
- Ability to recognize opportunities and respond to client needs, network easily with a variety of stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills in English (mandatory), other languages are an advantage.
- Strong self-leadership skills, hands-on mentality and desire to further develop in your role and grow with the team.
- Understanding of the challenges and complexities of a start-up business in an international environment is a bonus.
