Job Description
In the role of Senior Process Safety Engineer, you will report to the Engineering Team Manager and/or to local HSEQ organization.
● Responsible that legislative and company HSE requirements are implemented accordingly
in investment projects
● Consult project team and other stakeholders in process safety and fireproofing issues
● Facilitate process hazard analyses (e.g. HAZOP, LOPA) and other HSE studies in investment
projects
● Lead and report HSE activities of investment projects, hold trainings and actively
communicate HSE related issues to the project organization and other stakeholders
● Develop best practices related to process safety and process hazard analyses in
cooperation with other stakeholders
Requirements
● Experience with Process Safety in engineering or in Oil And Gas industry (10+ years)
● M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Chemical/Process engineering
● Refinery Experience
● Thorough understanding of process safety and risk management of high hazard chemical
process industry.
● Thorough understanding of fire hazards and fireproofing practices in of high hazard
chemical process industry
● Good competency of leading process hazard analysis (e.g. HAZOP, LOPA) is mandatory
● Good competency of consequence analysis modelling
● Thorough understanding of investment project lifecycle
● Ability to organize and lead HSE activities in investment projects
● Fluent English skills, both written and spoken. Any additional language would be benefit.
● Good communication & influencing skills
● The ability of self-initiative and solution-seeking attitude
