Log Extraction & Preparation Work for Investigation
• Log extraction from electronics products according to SOP
• Preparation work on electronics products for hardware investigation in accordance to SOP
• Support investigation work
Supervise & Performing Data Entry
• Data input/uploading work into MHI management system
• Data input/uploading work into authorities management system
• Periodical check on authorities management system and summarize situation
Hardware/Software for Investigation
• Technical investigation to identify the root cause of hardware or software failure
Coordination
• Coordination work by email/phone with outside companies and authority such as submitting report, requesting password, etc.
• Periodical follow-up of root cause analysis of detected fault on electronical products with MHI and outside companies
Other Ad-hoc matters
• To Raise Purchase Requisition in Intramart
• Handle any other related ad-hoc assignments as and when required
• External communication with Automobile Association approved workshops and partners, Government Agencies on matters related returned electronic products and more
• Negotiation for the scope of system test for ITS related product with external vendors which includes Government Agencies and Clients
• Internal communications with ITS Stategic Business Unit in Japan & MHI-MS related sections
Requirements
• Diploma in Electrical/Electronics or at least 10 years of experience in electronics product repair work
• Basic knowledge on electrnoics circuit board and components
• Intermediate Computer skills such as Microsoft Word, Exce; & PowerPoint
• Technical documentation will be preferred
• Native level of Japanese writing and speaking to liaise with Japan counterparts (JLPT N1) is a must as liaising with Japanese internal counterparts and external suppliers is necessary.
