As a visualization expert, you will be tasked with creating appealing and meaningful design and visualization using visual elements like charts, graphs, maps and other pictorial diagrams to facilitate business users to understand trends, outliers and patterns in the data. You will need to build close working relationships with enterprise data management to design and implement specific analytics/visualization requirements based on design standards. In addition, as Visualization expert, you will also work closely with development team, Project teams, partners and 3rd party vendors.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Understanding, analysing and interpretation of business requirements and translate requirements into Reporting solutions.
- Creating designs and wireframes in MicroStrategy, Tableau, Power BI etc.
- Creating designs for projects relating to web applications and portals.
- Preparing design plans, templates and presenting the dashboard and/or web application, portal structure as prototypes.
- Participating in creating proof of concepts, walkthrough to business users for signoff and implementation.
- Rationalizing and optimizing designs with stakeholders to ensure best UI and UX journey for users.
- Conceptualizing creative ideas with clients.
- Testing and improving the design of the Dashboards.
- Establishing design guidelines, standards, and best practices for development.
- Ensure high quality design by enforcing design content standards.
- Designing visual imagery for dashboards, web applications and portals, ensuring that they are in line with branding for business users.
- Working with different content management systems.
- Communicating design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps, and wireframes.
Skills Required
The candidate should have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of working experience in designing landing pages, creating visualizations using any of the two BI tools (MicroStrategy, Tableau, Power BI, Qlik sense) with a demonstration in projects preferably in the Public Sector and should have an overall experience of 7 to 10 years relatively.
- BE/MCA or equivalent from a reputed institution.
- Strong experience in creating visualizations using tools such as Figma
- Presentation Skills – data storytelling / user journey mapping using visualisations
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to work with large amounts of information and see the ‘bigger picture’
