Job Responsibilities:
- Plan and design mechanical systems for building services, ensuring that designs align with project specifications and industry standards.
- Prepare detailed reports, specifications, calculations, drawings, and other project documents to support the successful delivery of mechanical engineering projects.
- Present design concepts to stakeholders, review shop drawings, and manage material and equipment submissions to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Handle Requests for Information (RFIs) and other contract administration tasks to maintain project momentum and resolve any technical queries.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Requirements:
- A Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 2 year of relevant experience in mechanical engineering design, preferably within the facilities management or building services industry.
- Proficiency in mechanical engineering design systems software.
- Candidates with more years of experience may be considered for a senior position.
