Job Description:

You will be part of the Memorial Facilities & Planning Division which oversees the planning of after-death facilities and services in Singapore. You will be providing operations planning capability to ensure that the Government after-death facilities are efficiently managed and operated.


Main duties

  • Oversee projects and initiatives to improve after-death facilities and services including conceptualising new ideas, developing project scopes and objectives, conducting market research or analysis, and engaging the industry to understand the supplier landscape
  • Plan and manage end-to-end procurement activities including drafting, calling, evaluation and award of tenders and quotations while adhering to the key principles and guidelines of Government Procurement
  • Coordinate with operations team to develop project scopes, establish requirement specifications, plan timelines and prepare documents for procurement
  • Collaborate with operations team to gather and analyse user requirements for systems enhancements and introduction of new digital services, which aim to streamline processes and improve overall service delivery experience.
  • Laise and work with ITD and systems vendor to ensure that systems enhancement or projects are aligned with user requirements, including the facilitating and conducting of User Acceptance Testing.
  • Prepare service requests for data patching and extraction.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder
  • At least 1 to 2 years of experience in planning, procurement or systems work.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical, conceptualisation and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable to work in a fast-paced environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time
  • Ability to deal with complexity and ambiguity
  • Self-driven and always ready to strive for improvement
  • Good interpersonal skills and enjoy working with both internal and external stakeholders

Location: Scotts Road

Salary: $19 to $24/hour

Contract Period: 11 months

Mon-Fri
