Position Title: Global People Head
Reports To: CEO
Job Summary: The Global People Head leads the human resources function for a global internet company, focusing on attracting, developing, and retaining talent. This role ensures HR strategies align with business goals, fosters a positive culture, and supports the company’s global growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Strategy: Develop and implement a global HR strategy aligned with company goals.
Work with leadership to integrate HR into the business plan.
- Talent Acquisition: Oversee global hiring to attract top talent.
Implement best practices for recruitment across all regions.
- Employee Development: Create and manage global training and development programs.
Promote continuous learning and leadership development.
- Performance Management: Design and manage a global performance review process.
Use performance data to improve employee effectiveness.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Lead diversity and inclusion initiatives globally.
Monitor and improve DEI efforts across the organization.
- Employee Engagement: Drive initiatives to boost employee engagement and satisfaction.
Implement and act on employee feedback.
- HR Operations and Compliance: Ensure HR operations are consistent and comply with global laws.
Develop global HR policies and procedures.
- Compensation and Benefits: Create competitive global compensation and benefits strategies.
Ensure fair and consistent pay practices.
- Leadership: Lead and develop the global HR team.
Foster collaboration across regions.
- Change Management: Lead HR aspects of organizational changes, such as mergers or expansions.
Communicate changes effectively to ensure smooth transitions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of HR experience, especially in global roles.
- Strong understanding of global HR practices and laws.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Experience managing large, diverse teams.
- Proficiency in HR technology and data analysis.
- Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Frequent travel to support global HR efforts.
- May require extended hours during key initiatives.
