Roles and Responsibilities*
1. Developer for data-warehousing and BI projects
2. Responsible for all technical development work and support the leads on technical design and systems impact analysis
3. Provide on-going application support and be involved in various stages of the SDLC.
4. Conduct user requirement analysis for the development / implementation of new systems and enhancements to existing systems.
5. Evaluate potential solutions and make recommendations to resolve business problems.
6. Involvement in the system integration testing phase prior to implementation.
7. Plan and coordinate end-user training for any system implementations or enhancements.
8. Liaise closely with business users and build good rapport.
9. Liaise closely with vendors in project implementation, application testing, supporting application patches and upgrades in accordance with project methodologies and policies.
10. Support the team in defining project requirements, tracking and documentation.
Requirements / Qualifications*
1. Have a minimum of 4 years of working experience in data warehouse implementation using Informatica PowerCenter.
2. Have good working experience in Oracle PL/SQL, and SQL Server database.
3. Have the ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
4. Have experience in writing documentations such as unit test cases, functional specs, migration document and operational manuals.
5. Able to troubleshoot data extraction issues.
6. Have knowledge in performance tuning, optimizing workflows, and identifying bottlenecks.
7. Able to communicate well (written and verbal English)
