POSITION SUMMARY

The outside Sales Executive develops new business and maintains existing business within an assigned territory. The objective of this role is to achieve or exceed sales and revenue budget and growth goals, while building and maintaining the highest degree of customer satisfaction. The Sales Executive works closely with an assigned team of professionals including Customer Support Specialist who will assist in reaching sales targets and supporting activities.

The Sales Executive is accountable for achieving assigned KPIs including financial and customer satisfaction measures. As a key member of the sales team, the Sales Executive will promote and model Vanguard’s culture and values, to meet the “Happy Customer” objective.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement a sales strategy targeting key decision makers to build a network and drive business; strategically cross-sell into existing accounts to highlight the scope of Vanguard’s products and services; serve as a trusted adviser to customers.
  • Achieve or exceed territory performance goals; visit a minimum of 16 customers per week with the objective to close sales, uncover new business, and establish and maintain positive customer relationships.
  • Communicate and collaborate with assigned Customer Support Specialist to provide a seamless sales experience for your prospects and customers; ensure alignment of commercial objectives, financial objectives and customer needs.
  • Provide market intelligence to the sales manager.
  • Expedite the resolution of customer questions, problems or complaints to ensure satisfaction.
  • Ensure weekly and monthly reports are completed and submitted timely.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent; minimum 2 years’ sales experience; logistics industry preferred
  • Goal-oriented and ambitious, with capacity and drive to achieve and exceed quotas
  • Demonstrated ability to build productive, mutually beneficial relationships with customers
  • Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels; strong collaboration and teamwork skills; excellent listening, written, verbal and resentation skills(English required)
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Strong MS Office skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
