The Singapore Aquatics (SAQ) is the governing body for aquatic sports including swimming, water polo, diving, artistic swimming and open water swimming in Singapore. Job Title: Coach Development Executive (Swimming)
Reports to: Coach and Club Development Officer
Job Overview:
The Coach Development Executive (Swimming) will be responsible for supporting the delivery of training and development programs, workshops, and the National Swimming program within the organization. This person will play a key role in managing the administrative tasks associated with course delivery, including scheduling, registration, and evaluation, as well as managing membership for the organization. The Coach Development Executive (Swimming) will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and providing support to participants, coaches, coach developers, and members throughout the course delivery, workshop, National Swimming program processes and any other relevant matters.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the administrative tasks associated with course delivery, workshops, and the National Swimming program, including scheduling, registration, and evaluation
• Manage membership for the association, including enrolment, renewal, and record-keeping
• Maintain accurate records and databases of course participants, coaches, coach developers, workshop attendees, and National Swimming program participants.
• Provide support to participants, coaches, coach developers, workshop attendees, and National Swimming program participants throughout the course delivery, workshop, and program processes, including responding to inquiries and resolving issues
• Prepare course materials and other instructional aids, such as handouts and visual aids, for courses, workshops, and the National Swimming program
• Coordinate and manage logistics for course delivery, workshops, and the National Swimming program, including arranging for meeting/training space, audio-visual equipment, and other necessary resources
• Act as the secretary for the learn to swim sub-committee and coach development sub-committee, including taking and distributing minutes, tracking action items, and providing administrative support as needed
Qualifications:
• Diploma Holder/ Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Proven experience in course administration, workshop administration etc.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with coaches, coach developers, members, participants, workshop attendees, National Swimming program participants, and other stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software and technologies
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
