Job Scope
• Identify and negotiate with suppliers to secure quality materials at competitive prices.
• Manage supplier relationships, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with standards.
• Oversee purchasing budgets and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate with teams for timely material delivery.
• Draft and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, developing contingency plans as needed.
• Lead and mentor a purchasing coordinator.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and finance teams to align purchasing activities.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies.
Requirements
• Nitec or Diploma in Engineering background or experienced in working as an engineering company purchaser.
• Proficient in Excel, including VLOOKUP for data analysis and reporting.
• 3- 5 years of experience in technical purchasing or engineering products.
• Perform filling jobs as needed.
