Position Summary:
As a Senior Manager P145, you will be responsible for successfully manage the overall maintenance, repair or installation activities of an assigned aircraft team of licenses technicians and aircraft maintenance engineers. You will manage and monitor the daily maintenance and installation operations and activities to ensure project results are met respecting budget, time and quality targets, in line with your priorities and the organization’s Vision 2020 and strategy. You will be collaborating closely with various stakeholders throughout PMO and MRO departments to ensure that the projects are on track and executed effectively while always focusing on safety (product and employee) and employee performance.
Responsibilities:
- Allocates work, establish and monitor individual and team priorities, which are aligned with the company priorities
- Manages manufacturing and/or the MRO operations including, machinery and processing within the interior workshops, paint hangar and tool stores.
- Executes to given schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, materials supply, staffing resources, and volume required to meet demand.
- Manages the overall execution of the aircraft activities (MRO interior manufacture, overhaul, removal, installation and aircraft painting)
- Accountable to respect the Part 145 requirements relative to costs, timeline and quality
- Leads by example as a proactive, flexible, forward thinking individual that works to the best ofhis/her abilities, while embodying and promoting ONE Jet values (Trust, Honesty, Alignment and Transparency). Training, evaluating and disciplining employees, as required, are included among these responsibilities.
- Supports and enforces all EHS policy and procedures.
- Drives a culture of trust, honesty, alignment, transparency and performance in line with JET VALUES
- Ensures compliance with applicable laws, aviation regulations, and applicable GD and Jet Aviation policies.
- Conduct business ethically according to GD Blue Book regulations, and applicable GD and Jet Aviation policies.
- Represent Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies and the General Dynamics network
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 10 years of relevant work experience in MRO aviation industry
- Thorough knowledge of MRO Operations and understanding of regulatory framework and OEMs
- Good understanding of commercial drivers for respective area of responsibility
- Experienced in application of management techniques, operational management of mixed-levelteams, and navigating in a matrix organization
- Experience in implementing business plans and strategic guidelines
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Fluent in both spoken and written English
