Job Summary

The Sales Operations & Upgrade Operations Manager is a key member of the Asia Gas Power Sales Operations & Asia Upgrades team. The individual will report to the Sales operations leader based in Singapore in running the commercial/sales operations/upgrades operating routine, support strategic business growth initiatives, pipeline deal progress with linkage to MOR, upgrade material management and pipeline generation support in the most effective, optimal and lean manner. The role requires implementing both long-term and short-term business objectives/initiatives, coordination across multiple functions, countries & time zones (requiring the candidate to work centrally in Singapore to navigate the different time zones in Asia), maintain solid partnership with functional experts within the Asia Sales operations & Asia upgrades team, in driving growth and meeting the goals and objects set by the Asia Pole.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Run upgrade team routine, ensure pipeline progression and linkage to MORMaintain and run the Upgrade Dashboard aligning with MOR upgrade KPI
    Bi-weekly operating rhythm with the Region and Global Threads to measure the Upgrade KPI vs progress
    Maintain and run the clear action tracker including the action owner and timeline on the actions items identified during the weekly/Bi-weekly operating rhythm with the Region and Global
    Driving the Upgrade NEX Data Culture , Ownership and data integrity as part of operating rhythm
  • Upgrade material management – Advance release and Demantra forecastRun the AR Calender (Fencing date and AR planning) & co-ordinate closely among regional team proactively identifying the material lead time risk vs convertible order targets … maintain regular update/view on global inventory list
    Own the Demantra update alignment with the Global and FP&A team for material slot including the Bi-weekly global thread (material planners), material slot vs region demand alignment.
    NEX/Demantra data quality tracking and drive continuous improvement for upgrade deals.
  • Upgrade pipeline generation supportGiven the cycle time of upgrade deals, establish the future upgrade pipeline (3 year outlook) working closely with IB Leader and Upgrade Sales team.
    Participate Customer / Account Planning calls to identify & build upgrade pipeline
    Working closely with the IB leader to drive the Upgrade target segmentation (identify Low value and High value segmentation) and aligning with the opportunity pipeline (continue to measure the Target segmentation vs Pipeline generated in NEX), establishing the reason code for yet to be created pipeline together with the Upgrades Sales team driving the outcome… and monitor future upgrade solution requirement.
  • Coordinate Hoshin strategic growth initiatives across the poleDrive growth for strategic Hoshin growth campaigns for the pole eg. generator and steam turbine growth
    Forecast growth potential across the pole, and work with country team to create country strategy
  • Digital marketing growthClose coordination with Global Thread / verticals / engineering to launch email marketing campaigns / RES
    Close coordination across region/global thread/comms team to launch customer learning webinar/webisodes

Required Qualifications

  • You would possess a Degree in Economics from a local or internationally recognised university.
  • You must have at least 10 years of experience in gas power generation industry
  • Previous experience in sales or commercial manager experience in the gas power industry is a must.
  • Ability to demonstrate experience with gas power upgrades products and solutions especially sales operations experience in the gas power industry across countries in Asia is essential to this role
  • Ability to demonstrate experience in launching digital marketing online campaign is essential
  • Experience working in a US multinational company is preferred.
