Position Title: IT Engineer
Reporting To: Manager, IT
Main Tasks and Duties:
1. Provide technical support, including system maintenance, storage infrastructure performance, and resolving technical issues.
2. Track and resolve issues related to daily operations, maintenance, and IT infrastructure.
3. Monitor and audit configuration changes across critical services, ensuring they are supported by authorized change requests.
4. Accurately document all configurations and maintain up-to-date records.
5. Develop and implement branch-wide applications, ensuring they meet organizational needs.
6. Implement and maintain new systems on a daily basis, ensuring smooth operation.
7. Evaluate emerging technologies and assist in the approval and implementation of new technology solutions.
8. Assist in project management for both software development and system optimization projects.
9. Resolve production issues for new application systems in a timely manner.
10. Identify opportunities for improvement and perform data analysis to support data-driven decision-making.
11. Perform additional tasks as assigned by Management.
Job Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is preferred.
• Experience:
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, and SQL.
• Experience in the banking sector is advantageous.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of and interest in computer systems.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
• Good interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders across multiple departments.
