We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst specializing in Regulatory/Risk Reporting to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing regulatory and risk reporting solutions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, regulatory reporting, and risk management.
Responsibilities
1. Regulatory Reporting:
- Develop and implement regulatory reporting solutions (e.g., MAS 610, 637).
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and deadlines.
2. Risk Reporting:
- Develop and implement risk reporting solutions (e.g., credit risk, market risk).
- Support risk management initiatives and ad-hoc analysis.
3. Business Requirements:
- Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain business cases for regulatory and risk reporting projects.
4. Solution Development:
- Collaborate with IT teams to develop and implement reporting solutions.
- Ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
5. Testing and Validation:
- Develop and execute testing plans for reporting solutions.
- Validate reporting outputs for accuracy and completeness.
6. Data Management:
- Extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain databases and data visualisations.
7. Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with stakeholders across the bank to understand requirements.
- Provide training and support for end-users.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, economics).
- 3+ years of experience in regulatory reporting, risk management, or data analysis.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and risk management principles.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Advanced degree in a quantitative field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., FRM, CFA).
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms.
- Familiarity with machine learning and predictive analytics.
