As an Engineer Technician specializing in robot assembly, you will play a crucial role in our production operations by ensuring the efficient assembly, installation, and maintenance of our medical devices. You will work closely with our engineering and production teams to optimize the performance of our robotic assembly lines, contributing to the overall productivity and quality of our manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble, install, and calibrate our systems according to engineering specifications and production requirements.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement improvements and modifications to our medical device systems, including programming updates and hardware upgrades.
- Perform regular inspections and quality checks on robotic assemblies to identify and resolve any issues or defects.
- Train production staff on the safe and efficient operation of equipment, including proper handling and maintenance procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and performance metrics to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
- Stay current with advancements in robotic technology and automation trends to inform best practices and innovation in our production processes.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Engineering Technology from ITE Singapore or equivalent technical certification from a recognized polytechnic institution.
- Proven experience in the assembly, installation, and maintenance of robotic systems, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Familiarity with electronic components and circuits, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic systems.
